  • 1I have been having trouble writting and finding the 'right word' the past 3 months--indication of trouble?

my writting has steadily decreased in quality...I have not been able to find the 'right word'....and am having a progressive increase in effort explaining what I am thinking... furthermore, I don't remmember what I was thinking as often and I don't have as complex thoughts (can't plan as well either)...as I used to. Is this an indication of anything?

  • 3My 5-yr-old son is having trouble adapting to kindergarten. What can I do to help him get past this?

I have a 5-year-old little boy who has Asperger's Syndrome (high functioning Austism) and it is breaking my heart to have to send him to school every morning. He asks me to stay home EVERY DAY just before he takes the bus, with his eyes watered with tears. I HAVE to make him go because, as you know, kids need to go to school at this age. He used to go for only a couple of hours (at pre-school) and now he stays there the whole day. I didn't want that to happen, I didn't want him to stay in school the entire day, but his teachers, psychologist, social worker, etc., ALL said it is very important to do that. He is in a special classroom with fewer kids and a teacher and a teacher's aid. I don't know what else to do to make it better for my son. I talk to him all the time and explain why he needs to stay in school. But he is clearly having a hard time understanding WHY mommy makes him suffer like this. Because he is really suffering. He absolutely HATES kindergarten! Can anyone help me?

  • 6If I get a doctorate in psychology, will I have trouble finding a job?

I want to become a clinical psychologist , which requires a doctorate , but my boyfriend 's mom insists that I'll never get a job and I'll end up homeless ( she thinks he's right about everything , and I think that bothered me didn ' t want to be a social worker , because for some reason she keeps trying to control what I do with my life , so I do not know if I should believe him or not ) . I read online that it is easier to find a job if you have a doctorate in psychology rather than a bachelor's / master .. but it is true that it is difficult to get a job in this feild , even with a PhD?

  • 7Careers Advice. I graduated with a 2.1 in Bsc (hons) Psychology and having trouble finding a career path.?

When I finished my studies in 2009 I started working in retail savings and do camp america , what I did last summer with the intention of pursuing a career when I arrived. What has gone wrong so far , due to a death in the family distract me from my goal until Christmas , and have since been trying in vain to find something . I've been looking at graduate schemes at banks and supermarkets and such, but all of them are now closed until next year , and are not really what I consider my passion . I also looked under study , but hit a similar problem with closing dates already lost , in addition to their masters would be a funding problem . I found a course of speech and language that really excited me , their purchase funded by the NHS , but applications for this year is closed again , it could wait until next year for this, but after digging a little deeper than found that competition in this course is high , with 250 candidates for the 23 seats available , which means that even if I consentrate my efforts on getting a lot of experience willing to apply next year , there's still a big question mark over if you would go ahead and let me have to wait another year or having to choose another path , having lost a year . I do not want my degree to go to waste! Please help !

  • 8Aspiring freelance writer/author. Need to start a blog but having trouble finding a subject...?

I like the typical humanities : philosophy , history , literature , film , art - they also have an interest in psychology and sociology . As for what I'm trying to sell as a freelance writer I'm destined to widespread web content . I realize I have a long road ahead of me as a writer - I'm only 22, and my skills are far from perfect yet. However, I am willing to give this a good shot . It's something I've been meaning to move in a while . PS I'm going back to school in September to pursue an English degree . I'll do a 24-25.

Donna and Sherman Terrel are preparing a budget for 2003. Donna is a systems analyst with an airplane manufacturer, and Sherman is working on a master's degree in educational psychology. The Terrels no children or other dependents. Donna estimates her salary will be about $ 39,996 in 2003, Sherman expects to work only during the summer months, doing painting and remodeling a building contractor. He anticipates an income of $ 3,000 activities per month in June, July and August. Sherman has a scholarship that pays his tuition and also provides $ 3,600 per year of which $ 2400 is payable in February and $ 1200 is payable in October. The Terrels not expect to have any other income in 2003. Donna and Sherman have listed their expected total expenses in 2003 as follows: Housing (rent) $ 6.600 Transport 5100 Food (includes dining out) 8100 Utilities 3000 Payroll taxes: Donna 12000 Sherman 1500 Insurance: Life - payable in May 720 Auto - payable in January 1500 Leisure and entertainment: May Rental 1200 All other 1800 Clothing 1500 Other $ 3,900 Total expenses $ 46,920 The Terrels begin 2003 with about $ 1,000 in cash, and prefer not to draw this balance below $ 600 at any time during the year. Prepare a monthly income and expense plan for Terrels in 2003. Based on the plan you just prepared, discuss Terrels expected financial position in 2003. Explain if you foresee any difficulty. During the quarter break in April, Sherman's employer got a remodeling project and asked for Sherman's help. Sherman agreed, and it expects to earn $ 1,500 before tax work, but probably will not get a check until early June. Discuss how this unexpected event can affect Terrels activities' and its budget for the rest of 2003. No need to prepare a revised monthly income and spending plan, but they refer to specific accounts and amounts (make appropriate assumptions) in your discussion.

  • 12I am having trouble on what to major in.. PLEASE HELP!?

I need a third party to evaluate my interests, perhaps a career counselor or college adviser, to help me with a possible major and / or race "push". I am currently attending a community college in the Bay Area and, unfortunately, the resources there are not very useful to guide me toward my main interests and I am more confused than ever. I know that my passion is animals .. However, it is very competitive and I have the skills to carry it out (I unscrew during my first two years) and I work part time (I live on my own and pay my own bills) to quit my job to attend full-time school is out of the question. I'm thinking of moving to a private university, however, I have to declare a major. I made the final 3 .. Biology (Concentration in Zoology), Nursing, Psychology or. My heart is working with animals, but the only practical work is becoming a vet and I have the qualifications to be accepted. That's a fact and I'm not willing to move out of state to attend college. I would totally important in Zoology if I knew I would be able to go to vet school and other jobs with animals is not much of a race for life (which would have to get a second job to make ends meet life .. especially in the Bay Area.) As for nursing, I know, I know .. It's a great job with great pay ... hence why I'm going around about the idea. The only thing is, is that I do not like and do not like germs working with people. I do not work well with teams and could see myself being a nurse unhappy that would do no good to anyone. The schedule of the profession fits my lifestyle (3, 3 days on days off .. fluctuate) But I'm not sure about my one heart be in it .. Which brings me to Psychology. I'm interested in psychology but not sure if that's what you really want to do. I know I should get a master's and a doctorate to expand my job opportunities / salary but it seems like I would have to pay for my Master's and Doctoral Program Program for most of my life (salary is based on the clientele, right?) so it would not be a steady income, unlike wages vet or nurse (Health Careers). Please answer as if you have this dilemma .. I know that their opinions are not going to influence me to choose one over the other, but I'm hoping someone out there can give me some knowledge of what you think you should do with respect to the labor market, practicality and currently achieve this with my notes / work commitments. Thank you very much for your attention to this matter.
