  • 2I have been having trouble writting and finding the 'right word' the past 3 months--indication of trouble?

my writting has steadily decreased in quality...I have not been able to find the 'right word'....and am having a progressive increase in effort explaining what I am thinking... furthermore, I don't remmember what I was thinking as often and I don't have as complex thoughts (can't plan as well either)...as I used to. Is this an indication of anything?

  • 5Freshman in high school with some questions about my classes for next year?

Well , it would be helpful if you can tell me all or nothing there is to know about the classes registered for today I 'm taking next year ( sophomore year ) . Honors English 10 Driver Ed / 10 PE Spanish III Ok those were the ones I 'm not really worried about something tho driver ed information would be appreciated = ) The rest = / .. Chemistry Alg II / Trig Would take the history of the world / Geog Part 2 , but my counselor said colleges looking at me and think I 'm taking the easy way out , so I'll take the AP European History I've never been in an AP class , and last year I had trouble with Algebra I, but I ended up going with an A / B low throughout the year. So I'm very excited about going to ALG II / Trig . and I got a 72 on a test shot geometry functions today: [ But other than that I have all A and B is a few there are here and there in that class ( geometry ) . I was also taking Psychology . I heard it was pretty easy , but I have a feeling it's going to be confused with the chemical and 2/Trig Alg . And AP euro will get rid of my spare time and probably more . And I was thinking of taking Home Ec sometime later in my high school career , but definitely not next year . I'd still like to know. And a child care / development sooner or later classes . I want the advanced studies diploma . So, if you have taken any of these classes , please tell me about it = )

  • 6Pre-Calc freshman year... How does this high school schedule look?

Currently a freshman, class of 2015, from now my GPA is 3.7/4.1 Freshman: Precalculus English 9 Honors Honors World History Honors Biology French 1 (Study hall) Soph: AP Calculus AB Honors English 10 Government 1 semester Regular / Regular maybe 1 semester Economics Honors Honors Chemistry French 2 (Study hall) Jr: Calculation 2 (State University) Honors English 11/CIS (College School-basically a college class) Public Speaking Early American History CIS / CIS Modern American History Honors Physics French 3? Such self-study for the French CLEP 3 ... (Study hall?) During the summer, Introduction to Psychology and a dance class at the state university. Sr: math clue? Composition CIS / CIS Literature CIS Political Science / Sociology Regular Anatomy and Physiology CIS French at the U? or CLEP preparation (Study hall?) I go to a performing arts school high, we have nothing after school, and we are only optional language (French or Spanish), Discrete Mathematics, and Forensics. The last two years can only be taken junior / senior. I can take 6 classes per semester at a time, if I take less of study rooms are added until the number reaches 6 classes. Besides, I have no idea what to wear for math last year .. It could take discrete math, but do not think I will be prepared for college math and / or computer programming college. French 1 and 2 are new additions this year, and if you add French 3 and 4 French probably going to take a French course in intermediate U instead through PSEO. CIS is where college professors teach at my high school ... We have college credits, so if I do all courses above the ERC should have 29 hours of college credit. If I get a 3 or higher (the FSU website) in the AP Calc AB exam, I have four credits towards that. I double-major at Florida State University. I'd be out of state, I want to get a BS in Computer Science (what should I take for me to get there I know this program called ALICE, maybe I could do that in study hall?) and a BFA in Dance Performance. Apparently, the combination of higher take five years to graduate, and I want to graduate in four. Courses at the U are free, and is only 8 minutes from my school, but I do not know whether to transfer (yet!) ... Any ideas? (Also, he was educated at home until now so technically I should be in the 8th grade, or class of 2016, but no point in going to school for another year if not fail me now ...) < br> (Another note: I would be taking college courses in my local, state U, not Florida State U.)

  • 8My 5-yr-old son is having trouble adapting to kindergarten. What can I do to help him get past this?

I have a 5-year-old little boy who has Asperger's Syndrome (high functioning Austism) and it is breaking my heart to have to send him to school every morning. He asks me to stay home EVERY DAY just before he takes the bus, with his eyes watered with tears. I HAVE to make him go because, as you know, kids need to go to school at this age. He used to go for only a couple of hours (at pre-school) and now he stays there the whole day. I didn't want that to happen, I didn't want him to stay in school the entire day, but his teachers, psychologist, social worker, etc., ALL said it is very important to do that. He is in a special classroom with fewer kids and a teacher and a teacher's aid. I don't know what else to do to make it better for my son. I talk to him all the time and explain why he needs to stay in school. But he is clearly having a hard time understanding WHY mommy makes him suffer like this. Because he is really suffering. He absolutely HATES kindergarten! Can anyone help me?

  • 9Would it look bad on a grad. school application if I didn't do research experience my freshman year?

I plan on doing research experience with a faculty member starting my sophomore year, would that look bad when applying to graduate schools for Psychology? My gpa right now is at a 4.0.

  • 10I need college advice going into my second year at a ranked university. I worked really hard freshman year but?

Currently I have a 3.2 GPA I have plans to go to law school either to practice family law or take the GRE and hope to enter a graduate program in Psychology classified . I wonder is it possible or unlikely also to pull my GPA up to 3.5 or higher with luck. What I learned about myself is that I could have done more , as if I did wrong in the first tests , and coming to the end of each semester that got the hang of classes and started doing better. Also any good study tips ? and ways to engage and maintain good gpa Im thinking sleepless .

  • 11C's From Freshman Year?

I graduated from college a few years ago with a degree in Elementary Education . I taught a bit and am now interested in returning to school to finish my studies in psychology (what I was working on before moving to education ) . I'm not very far from over , but I'm worried about 3 C received my Freshman year in basic psychology courses . I wonder if I should re-take the courses? How much do you think cares? I have no problem doing the work , I wonder if it's worth the money . I hope you will apply for a master's program in counseling competitive school after I finish this degree , so I thought I'd add psychology could help - but I do not want the C 's to hurt my chances . Thanks for any advice !
