QWhat kind of a degree do you need to be a therapist?

I was thinking about changing my major to psychology , but I'm told by someone who needs a PhD to be a therapist , and I'm not sure if I could get my masters ... what actually I have a few questions .

What kind of action do you think being a therapist ?
What can be done with a partner in psychology ?
What is the job market for people with degrees in psychology , as ?

It depends on what kind of therapist wants to be (there are physical therapists , occupational therapists , psychologists , counselors , psychiatrists , etc. . ) But I'm assuming you want to do something in psychology. I do not think you can do anything in the field of psychology with an associate degree , and I'm not sure if there are jobs available with a bachelor's degree in psychology . You can be a counselor with a master's degree , and be a clinical psychologist with a PhD or PsyD ( there are other types of psychologists , psychologists , biological research , organizational psychologists , etc. ) or psychiatrist with a MD . Psychology is the second most popular undergraduate ( http://myplan.com/majors/top-ten . php ) < / a> , so I do not think there are many things you can do with a degree in it.
