QIs apathy a symptom of depression?

Okay so lately like for 2 months i havent really cared about anything . I mean there are times when I am happy or excited , but overall I just do not care if I have or not , that's not to say that when the opportunity to play , again i do not take advantage of it , but when im in periods not fun or even if I'm alone and bored in my room for days does not really matter .
I've said some bad things to a friend of mine and I do not care , I actually think I like it anyway , I hate his idk its awkward .
my final exams are coming and while im studying because I want to go , if I do not really care .
Christmas break is coming and I'm looking forward to , but then again if I was going to spend this Christmas alone in my bedroom that would not really bother me

All this leads some to the conclusion that im depressed? because I mean I really do not feel sad about all you really have to worry about any problems

It may be a sign of depression because you did mention some of the classic symptoms of depression (ie , wanting to be alone , or lack of interest , lack of care ) , but the only way to find out is that your doctor will perform an exam. Here is more likely to know if something like depression or seasonal disorder , or anything like that . Feel better.
