Psychology Questions

QDo you think going to community college for a diploma in drugs and alcohol is a waste of time?

I'm interested in getting a job in the field of substance abuse. They have a diploma program is only 18 credits to drugs and alcohol. I thought maybe I should go to a fellow social work or psychology then go to get a degree in a four-year college . Any thought asking for opinions on this.

I think you should consider all your options . Determine what your short term and long term goals are . Can you help your long-term desires . It will be a necessary step in that direction or it will be something I can use ? Talk to instructors who teach in all of these options . Talk to students in these programs and talk to people who are doing work related to these issues . Use the information you find to make your decision. Good luck with that .
