Community college courses are just the next step above high school courses. You will be expected to read and write more than you do in high school. If you find you need help, be sure to ask for it. English 100, in most colleges, is pre-college English; it helps students prepare for college-level English. English 101 and 102 are the college-level courses. Make sure you check your spelling, grammar, and punctuation before submitting a typewritten paper.

Relax and enjoy your classes. The fact that you are asking this question tells me that you are a conscientious student and you will probably be very successful in college.

Best wishes.

I think if you are already earning an associate's degree at the time of completing high school , you are already in the race for what it takes to handle college courses . Just be aware that there are a lot of independence with college courses , and there are many expectations about what you present as a final report or essay . Make sure you plan to take time to research and learn to correctly cite resources. It tidious , but an important skill to learn . Also I was not involved with the courses you are taking as my specialty was different , but as with any course , you will learn a lot while you focus your efforts . Be sure to pay attention to the teacher's curriculum , as it is your true tone for what exams and reports are due, at maturity , and sometimes , what is the overall theme . Good luck , young man! Knowledge is power , and no one can take away what you've learned seriously.

I did it for my cc jr and sr years, and it was good ... I liked, and psychology is fun ... I do not know about biology , I took no high school degree. you'll have tons of fun , learn a lot , and make new friends . do not worry , you'll do well. I just turned 17 in April , and graduated from high school ... in Phi Theta Kappa , honors , and did so in the deans list ! from UNLV in two weeks , and already has more than 40 credits with an average of 3.8

They will be harder then high school but if you study and take notes and ask for help when you need it then you will do fine. Go to class, read what is assigned, study and ask questions. Biology is fun, lots of memorizing but lab is great. Sounds like a great way to get a jump on your future and save money too..go for it.
